Started a clarinet rental in September 2016. Went through rental contract online and picked it up within week at local music store.

Was never charged initially (did the one time fee for 10 month rental). Didn't think much of it but then next month started getting billed over 200 dollars multiple times but money would then reappear in acct like it was never taken. Next month the same thing was happening and called bank to find out what's wrong. Had to dispute charges but when I tried calling music and arts was hung up on multiple times and could not get through.

Had my card changed but still the company charged me again few weeks later so had to call bank again to dispute more charges and get card changed again. This is after I returned clarinet to local music store because I'm fed up with getting charged on my account!

Finally do get a hold of customer service at music and arts and told them clarinet was returned and why am I getting charged weird amounts to which they replied "ahhh I don't know but your acct is open and looks like to me you have bills". I literally was dumbfounded on how this company is run is customer service this bad!

Same thing happened to me. Still in the process of trying to get 4 months worth of rental fees refunded half a year after the instrument was returned.

Their customer service is abysmal. They promised me a refund and it has never happened. I guess I need to file a dispute with my card but like an *** I used a debit card from my bank.

Don't use Music & Arts - even if your school uses it for their band rentals - go elsewhere. These guys don't deserve your business.

You can absolutely still file a dispute/chargeback if you used a debit card. It would definitely be a good idea.
